Kinetechno-system – music played by electric motors. The engine can make electromechanical noise, or it can play notes. A couple of times in my life, a master machine operator admitted to me that they sing to the accompaniment of a circular saw or a milling cutter. Kinetechno-system is an ensemble of sounding art installations based on electric motors. This is sound-art and, at the same time, kinetic art (moving sculptures). It is known that the musical style of techno was born from the sound of electrical circuits that were not intended for sound: carrier frequency generators, sweeps, ballasts of neon lamps, etc. So here, the sounds of electric motors are a by-product of the activity of technical devices, and this gives every reason to include them in the name project the word “techno”.
